Foundations Early Learning Center offers preschool and full-time childcare to children age 1 year to 5 years. Programs are available for Tuesday/Thursday or Monday/Wednesday/Friday or 5 full days per week.
Using the “Creative Curriculum”, Foundations Early Learning Center encourages children to choose freely from a wide range of play and learning activities. This variety of experiences all foster the development of manipulative skills and motor coordination through play and includes music & movement, arts & crafts, books & puzzles, blocks, outdoor play, and dramatic play. Math and science skills are developed using manipulatives for counting, blocks, puzzles, cooking, pouring and measuring. The growth of language skills comes through the use of books, dramatic play, circle time, and every part of their day at preschool.
Each week children will participate in our Children’s Chapel where they will develop their spirituality and love of God. This will also be included in many of the other experiences of their daily programs.
We want all our children to respect their friends, teachers, families, and God. We will teach children to show respect to everyone and to treat others kindly. Familiar routines with simple, basic guidelines will enable children to learn in a comfortable, relaxed environment. We are committed to working closely with parents toward the welfare of the whole child. A well balanced, confident and respectful child will be prepared for a successful future-socially, academically and spiritually.
